Soon, a new and vibrant urban neighbourhood will rise in the heart of Copenhagen – offering rental homes, owner-occupied apartments and commercial spaces, with water and lush green experiences at its core. Follow us on the journey towards your next home.

The homes

As the final piece in the development of Enghave Brygge, Copenhagen’s inner harbour is now being completed to the south with the establishment of three residential islands, one commercial island and two additional sites in Sydhavn.

Owner-occupied and rental homes
AP Pension’s subsidiary, AP Ejendomme, is responsible for the development and construction of up to 1,000 homes, ranging from compact apartments to larger residences, available for both ownership and rent. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026.

New canal systems will be created between the residential islands, along with a continuous green harbour promenade following the waterfront. Pedestrian and cycling bridges will connect the area from north to south.

Strong focus on climate-conscious construction

The ambitions are high. The project aims for the buildings to contribute as much as possible to the green transition within the construction industry.

One of the key ambitions is the use of biogenic materials and timber structures wherever feasible.

The area

The development of the entire waterfront area in the southern part of Copenhagen’s inner harbour draws inspiration from Amsterdam, Venice – and Copenhagen’s own Christianshavn. Located close to Vesterbro, Enghave Brygge is already one of the city’s most sought-after residential areas, offering an abundance of experiences, restaurants, bars and cafés.

Canals and maritime atmosphere

Cosy canals winding between the residential islands create a strong maritime character, while numerous cafés, bars, restaurants and shops give the area a lively yet welcoming feel.

Convenient access to daily shopping

Everyday shopping is easy and accessible in several locations. The large Italian delicatessen SuperMarco is also nearby, offering fresh produce and carefully selected specialities.

Close to Vesterbro

Vesterbro offers everything from vintage stores and unique boutiques to high-end fashion and design. Atmospheric squares, leafy parks and urban gardens invite both active pursuits and moments of relaxation.

Enghave Brygge Metro

In 2024, Enghave Brygge gained its own metro station on the southern side of the area. The extension of Metro line M4 connects the city seamlessly in all directions and is ideally located for residents of Enghave Brygge Syd.
